SkyHaven Drone Detect / Alerting System SMS Messaging:
The SkyHaven drone detection system provides SMS alerts to security and safety personnel designated by customer organizations using the SkyHaven drone detection system. Within the SkyHaven Users Interface the mobile phone numbers for designated staff are entered by the customer’s SkyHaven System Administrator after the designated staff member consents via a required checkbox in the SkyHaven administrator console. Below is the SkyHaven System product administrator check-box screen for Opt-In of a user:
After designated staff is deemed Opt-In and the SkyHaven System detects an unmanned aircraft within a customer's monitored airspace, or when a drone crosses a customer-defined geofence, the system sends an SMS alert to the designated Opt-In’ed personnel containing the detection details (device identifier, distance, location coordinates, speed, heading, and launch or controller location) and a Mapping link (such as Google Maps) to the drone operator's location or drone launch location.
Important Notes:
- During periods of high detection activity, the SkyHaven System sends a rate-limited summary message instead of an alert for each detection.
- The SkyHaven System SMS Alerting is limited to safety and security notifications and does not include marketing or promotional messages.
- Non-Sharing: Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS communications will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
- Message frequency may vary depending on your interactions with us and the services you request.
- Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier’s plan.
- HELP: User texting HELP triggers an automated reply that provides customer support information, contact details, and a list of available commands like STOP.
- STOP: User texting STOP will Opt-Out the user from getting SMS messaging from the SkyHaven System. The SkyHaven System Admin can also Opt-Out the user from the admin console.
